I'd probably pick an art glass to go in it. Something not opaque, not clear if you know what I mean? There are so many different ones to choose from. You'd get the light, but there would be the illusion of a real window. JMO.

Ooh, there's an idea! Although I'm not sure what kind of artsy glass might fit in a modern looking kitchen... any ideas? I'm trying to keep everything white/stainless/minimal.

GL with the home renovations. Just a thought... we have frosted our windows before. Our modern home came with a store front door that's all glass. To have some privacy, we got a DIY kit and frosted it. Just wanted to share an idea. Wouldn't recommend getting any tinting from Home Depot but the frosting sheets are just fine and look great.

My house has this very window. It looks right into my sunroom.

I think the window once looked outside, before the sunroom was added. It isn't awkward at all. I feel that the kitchen would be sort of sad without it. What IS awkward is the bathroom/shower window looking out into the sunroom!!
