Hi all!
Lurker and occasional poster freshly engaged 2 hours ago in our backyard.
I came home from running some errands and was sitting on a chaise on our patio when he said " I think the cat left something under your chair, it looks like it might be a bird" I freaked out of course and he pulled a real looking but fake blackbird out from under my chair and I was laughing and mildly p!ssed so I threw a glass of water on him. Then poor guy standing there soaked pulls out a box from the bird''s claws and proposes. I was truly in shock. I said I wanted it to be a surprise and it certainly was.
I helped pick out the stone which is from Whiteflash. Stats to follow. The setting is by Etienne Perret up in Maine and he did this lightning fast, I think the stone arrived on Tuesday, set it and sent it back by Friday. I''m still in shock, originally we thought it would be a few weeks so I definitely wasn''t expecting it this weekend.
Here''s the stats and of course lots of pics. Thanks for all the helpful advice, we got a fantastic stone because of all you experts and the designers resource page is how I found Etienne''s website in the first place. Thanks!
