i want some donuts. any good donut shop near your house or work?

There is

the BEST donut shop in Canada up my street (Tim Horton''s is about 50 feet from my house). I love it..so convenient, when the kids don''t like my cooking, I say "here''s $10, go buy yourself a sandwich , soup and a donut!". It''s always soooooooo busy though, so by the time you reach the front of the line, that craving for a donut has disappeared!

I wish...there is an amazing local donut shop in town, but it''s on the other side of downtown from where we live. We USED to live about 2 blocks away from there...it''s probably best that we don''t anymore, it''s delicious!

I''ve been lucky enough to eat at some of the finest restaurants in the U.S. and Freeport measures up, pastry-wise, to most of them. YUM! It''s one of the few things I miss about living in Sacramento.

I lived in Folsom, Citrus Heights, and East Sac (behind Sutter Memorial) over a 7 year period. I worked downtown, across from the Capitol, for several years.

I thought I was the only person who think Krispy Kreme is nasty. There''s so much glaze and the donut is as puffy as people say.

I dated a guy whose family owned a donut shop when I was in college. I was so sick of donuts then because I see them all the time. But now I occasionally get a sugar donut.

Zap them in the microwave, that is what I do for my grandboys, the love them like that.
