I searched high and low for a diamond band...

And ended up with a plain one! I didn''t like the plain band that I orignally had. The profile was lower than my e-ring, the edges were sharper, and it developed a patina way faster than my e-ring did. I alwas assumed I''d get a diamond band at some point and about 6 weeks ago really started to search. I tried on countless bands, not liking any of them with my e-ring. I came thisclose to buying a round channel set band, but in the end decided not to. I kept coming back to how I loved a beautifully made 3mm plain platinum band.

I asked a jeweler if SK had a matching band for my setting and they did! Two actually, a princess channel band and a plain band! I chose the plain one (3mm), and 3 weeks later it arrived! The quality is amazing, well worth the wait. I love that it matches perfectly.

I came very close to buying the Lucida band since my favorite set ever (besides mine

) is the Tiffany Lucida e-ring and matching plain band (I adore Bee''s set!). But I''m glad I decided to go with SK for the band.

I''ve had my new band for 2 days now and haven''t taken it off except to apply lotion. It''s super comfy, and the shiny platinum looks yummy!
