Mr. Smurfy is home sick, he''s been up all night throwing up and I really hope he feels better and I REALLY hope it''s not h1n1 or any other kind of yucky flu and I REALLY REALLY hope he doesn''t give it to me as well! Please send germ free thoughts our way

Does he have a fever and body aches? If it''s H1N1, he can get Tamiflu in the first 48 hours and reduce symptoms and possibly shorten the duration of the flu.

As I understand it, H1N1 is a respiratory flu and not gastrointestinal, so it''s probably not that. Here''s hoping it''s food poisoning so you don''t have to worry about catching anything from Mr. Smurfy! (this might be the first time I''ve ever hoped someone has food poisoning)
