I need a source for gem quality beads-emerald or tourmaline.

I am looking for high quality beads -and not just strings of calibrated beads but large polished beads. They dont need to be emeralds just "emerald green"--chrome tourmaline, garnet etc. Any recs most appreciated

Do they need to be natural gemstone, or can it be glass/crystal?

12mm is pretty large; the quartz family might be a good idea to look into.
