Vapid Lapid is one of my favorite CSers.

He does artistic, fun stuff and post great pics for everyone to enjoy.

I would like to share a tribute to VL, and I hope you can join me in asking him to return.

Vapid, please come back!! :((

Who can forget the Color Change Garnet with Devil Duck? Or the Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl that he used EXTREMELY appropriately?

Who can forget the chunk of sky that he held in his hand?

Who can live without more pics of his fabulous pug?

Or his bizarre ability to actually make rings? It's like alchemy! Sure, it involves a hammer, but it still always felt like alchemy!

Come back, VL, we need all these things on CS!

I'll never forget the pic of his gemstones "driving around" in the little toy car. It included a princess Mahenge cut by Gene, I believe.

Actually, he got the idea for this photo from me - yeah, yeah, that's it; it was my idea. In fact, everything he knows, he learned from me...yeah. :naughty: :naughty:

I miss VL too, a lot. I'm sad we made him want not to come back. He's a grown-up with the kid still there inside. ;( If you're visiting at all, VL -- please come back! (P.S. DH recommended a great new publisher for your dad!)

I didn't see that emerald cabochon ring before. Can I buy an emerald cab from you to use in my daughter's ring? VL!!!
