Well, after much looking, PSing, learning and stone trading, I finally found the diamond I''ve been waiting for. This was critical since I am getting married on 07/07/07, and didn''t want to change stones after the wedding. (we are both 49 year old late in life marriers) As some of you know, I have been on this mission for over 1 year, I''ve changed quality and size many times, til I got if right. On my latest quest, I looked over many, many stones, filtering out the ones I didn''t like and putting aside the maybe''s. I started with the Grading Reports, then did the old "Eye Inspection". I kept an open mind and found the stone that looked and felt right for me. I would take home a copy of the Grading Reports and run the numbers on the Holloway Cut Advisor. For the last stone (the one I picked), since I hadn''t gotten a copy of it''s Report yet, once I got to the store, I had my sales lady go to the Pricescope website, so that I could use the HCA. I wanted to have as much info as I could to decide this time. I didn''t use these tools before, I''m sooo glad I had them this time. Well, it was worth it to thoroughly do my homework. And I am pleased to say, for the first time on my long journey, my darling fiance went with me to the jewelry store and helped in the final decision. (there was no formal proposal and I picked out the other wrong stones alone, so he had no emotional attachment to other stones, UNTIL NOW!) Oh and by the way, even after being a difficult to please customer, my sales ladies, treated my like a queen, again!
