Do you guys know if they cut generic asschers with different amounts of facets?

Yeah ... I think if the GIA report says "Cut cornered square emerald" it has an extra pavillion step or two. If the GIA report says "Square Emerald" it just has three pavillion steps?? I''m not SURE ... that''s just what I''m remembering
