How long to wait to hear from a vendor?

How long should I wait to hear from a vendor I emailed? It's about an item I'm consigning. I've tried 2 different emails maybe a week apart, and it's been 2 weeks now since the last one. Might be a busy time with Xmas? What would be more than enough time to try for a third?

It is certainly a busy time for vendors due to the festive season.

I would be inclined to give the vendor a ring rather than to send another e-mail myself, in case your e-mails have gone into their Spam box, which has happened to me in the past when I first made enquiries with traders for quotes.

after 2 email attempts, a week apart, and having waited, 2 weeks without a reply, i would either call or text ...

or find another vendor to consign with

If the vendor is Grace, I find that contacting her client service manager works better.

No, none of those people They already have my item (have had for a year actually). I'll think about your suggestions. It's an international call and we've always dealt by email...hmmm.

Could also try a FB message or Instagram whatever they call private messages.

In general I wait 2 business days no more than 3 and if they haven't contacted me I try other means or move on.
