How do you like to set (pendant style) your pear shape gemstone?

tip pointing up to head
tip pointing down to stomach
tip pointing left
tip point right
tip at random angles (?)

yes!, it has a natural look to it as if gravity has influenced the shape.

For a single stone pendant, tip pointing up.

My favourite pear design, however, is a small pear point down (functioning as the bail) and a larger pear, point up, hanging from it.

Depending on the design, I like either tip pointing to the head or tip pointing to the legs. For a fancy design, tip pointing to the head is a very natural and feminine look as it mimics the shape of a water droplet. It also allows for making 2 or 3 stone drop designs.

i think it makes a nice pendant for my girlfriend
