I''d appreciate your input on the following 1.43 I VV2 square emerald. Here''s the info from the GIA cert:

The picture looks yummy nice patterns.

The sarin looks good its a little out of square but it doesnt look it.
16% crown height so it should be firey.

IS image looks funky which isnt that unusual for asschers.
The picture looks a lot better and it better represents what the diamond will look like.


Being an I you might see some color in it.
Strong fluor. have the vendor check and make sure it isnt mirky under sunlight from it.

Good to go in my opinion if the fluor checks ok.

As long as you consider strong fluorescence "cool", that pictue looks ... perfect, you know

The Idealscope looks fine with me: with all that contrast (the black patches) this stone most likely loks like an oldie - not bad cosidering this shape is following the Asscher footsteps. Those dark areas will look dark in low diffuse light or if looked at very closely (when your person blocks all direct light over the stone) - same as the arrows in a H&A round. The same facets provide fire and strong light flash under direct light... anyway, as much as I understand how the Iscope works.
