help with a ring imprint

I found a ring on a bus stop in Manhattan. On the inside are the words "IC% IRID PLA" . It looks like an anniversary style ring & has 5 diamonds . It is very pretty but what do those letters mean ? The first two could be a 1C but it looks like the letter "I".

Iridium-platinum alloys usually come in 900 platinum or 950 platinum and may be stamped accordingly.

I hope you'll turn the ring in to the police station - I'm sure someone's missing their ring!
