Hey All,
I am in the proces of setting my 2ct O colored AVC. I have narrowed it down to a James Meyer setting--they are absolutely beautiful! I cant decide, however, whether I want it to be all Yellow Gold or have the shank and bezel in yellow gold and the embellishments on the sides and the millgrain on the top in platinum. I really like the unique the color of the O stone, but I am not trying to "play it up." I am thinking that a yellow gold bezel (and a completely YG ring without the platinum) will help mask some of the color, but I am also concerned that making it all one color might "take away" from the beauty of the setting? I have included a pic of my stone and some examples of the JM setting I am looking at (except they are the opposite of what I am thinking about doing--platinum with YG embellishments). Thanks for your opinions!!!
