I have not been on these boards in ages. I was here quite a bit several years ago, to learn about diamonds. I have a beautiful 1.06 round brilliant stone, which was set in a lovely trellis setting. Unfortunately, I am no longer wearing it, as I am now a single lady. For my birthday, I am thinking of having it set in a BG Barbara pendant. I was all ready to send it in this week, but now that the day is finally here to send it it, I am hesitating.
I was also convinced I should just get a bezel setting with a standard chain (in platinum) and proably 18" with a 17" jump. But now, I am wondering about the milgrain and bead chain. I think I need some re-assurance that this is the best setting for the stone.
