Hello lovely PS'ers,
It appears I have been bitten by the pearl bug. I am also at a point in my career where I need to look nice but in a way that is not always suited to wearing a lot of bling.
I would love to start my collection of Akoyas with a classic pair of studs in the 8 - 8.5mm range from Takahashi.
Here's what they sent me –
To my eyes, although the pair on the upper left is smaller, it is well matched and the luster is sharp and bright and contrast-y. I am not a fan of overly pink pearls so I've ruled out the bottom row. I've also requested to take a look at some Near-Gem grade pearls with a slight blemish where it can be drilled as I am prioritizing luster and color (more white and silvery).
Hoping to get some feedback before making my decision!
