Help finding dining room table and chairs

DH and I are in search of a dining room table and chairs, and we have no idea what we're doing or what we should look for.

I guess I want to make sure that for what we would pay we'd be getting good quality.

So far, we like this table and chairs...but we keep going back and forth a little bit because of the price:

What do you think of that table and chairs? What "style" would you say the above look would be?

And also I'd love to hear furniture store suggestions - I draw a blank every time we want to look for furniture!

CJ, I actually just posted about something similar a couple of weeks ago. I ended up finding a two tone set that I LOVE from Macy's. We're getting new dining room chairs from Mitchell Gold + Bob William. We liked theirs because we couldn't feel the frames through the cushion when we sat on them, which we could for every single other chair we tried. They're a bit pricier, but for more comfort, I'm willing to pay.

I'd call the C&B modern/contemporary prairie style. Streamlined farm table, I guess?

We have bought quite a few pieces from Room & Board. Some of their furniture is made domestically/locally, they have custom options, and I tend to like the modern classics like the Saarinen table pictured. I like a mix of old & new. We have a lot of really old family stuff, so I'm always trying to break up the antique look with some clean lines.

We have a cheapy 4 chair + table set from Ikea in our apartment. I wouldn't know about the quality because it's become the place where the cat's go to eat their cat grass.

The cats have been doing great with THEIR dining room set for 2 years now.

For furniture, I would suggest Bob's if there is one in your area. They offer up free lemonade and water, ice cream, cookies, candy. Bonus! http://www.mybobs.com/
If you've seen the commercials, the store I've been to is surprisingly "different" from the commercial. We got our living room set from Bob's, as well as a pretty storage bench. We're happy with the price and the quality. The cat's seem to approve, too.

Have you tried costco.com?

Believe it our not, they have quality furniture, customer service is great, and the white glove delivery service impeccable. We recently ordered an entire bedroom set 6 pieces, and it was delivered in 2 weeks, fully assembled on site, without a scratch!....Thumbs up from me

I just looked online, and their dining sets look great too.

I'd buy furniture from Costco again in a heartbeat.

What's your style?

DH and I just purchased a new coffee table on Sunday, and while at the furniture store decided to look at the dining room sets because that's our next endeavor.

We are considering this:
