This band is what I''m after, a nice fluid silhouette.

Something like that would be VERY easy for a custom job, and I''m sure there are also lots of similar stock settings. I''ll poke around a bit and see what I can find!

You can't see the side profile in this one, but a bit of the curve up to the bullets (I think they're bullets?).

Nearly all of Leon's settings meet that "fluid" look that you're after. Here are a couple where the side view of his three-stone style is more clear:

If you are willing to go custom, he'd be a great choice for what you're after!

This can be easily done; it''s basically a 3 stone ring with a basket setting. The side are 2 baguettes and the center stone has fishtail prongs.

Thanks Musey. I don''t know what it is, but some of these rings look so much more sleek & elegant than other that are very similar. How much does a Leon Mege ring run in general? I have high taste and great expectations and a slim budget! Of course!! I''ve been searching ebay for mountings that are vintage that might work, but most are for smaller center stones. I like some of the rings on antiqueengagementrings.com, but he doesn''t use baguettes and some of the settings seem too low, I like a bit of height!

Thanks gals...

If you are wanting to see all that is available, I would suggest a peak at the Verragio line. They use a lot of baguettes and it may help direct you to narrow down what it is exactly you want.

I think they are priced higher than moderate-so the price isn''t what you are looking for, but they do have a lot in the style you are looking for. There is one style I flipped for, I can''t figure out how to post a picture but to describe it it had suspended baguettes. They were mounted on the ends and the rest was elevated. Quite spectacular in an architectural way. Sorta like a cantilever that Frank Lloyd Wright may have used. From the top down it looks just like your choice...but from the side...oh my. Anyway, you might peak at the sight.

Oh, I think they have created a cut that is similar to a bag, but has more tapered facets. I could be wrong, this was over 3 years ago. But I seem to remember the verbiage about a certain cut.

You should check out Antique Jewelry Mall. I found one similar in a sapphire: http://www.antiquejewelrymall.com/r400.html

I think they can easily switch it out. They also have tons of similar settings. You may just find what you''re looking for. I''ve heard good things about them, and they''re covered on the Better Business Bureau.
