I can''t tell you HOW MUCH this post made my day, DKS! You guys are THE BEST! I am very very touched, thank you. If I had your home address I''d send you a much deserved thank you note.

We didn''t even celebrate my birthday because FI''s dad had open heart surgery so I spent my birthday sitting in a hospital waiting room.

He''s doing well, so that''s all that really matters.

BUT OH MY GOODNESS did this post cheer me up! I really can''t even tell you how much, but I just signed on to PS in hopes that it would lift my spirits, and boy did it ever.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Oh, and our poor little furbaby--his name is Geddy, and FI adopted him last year. He had to have emergency surgery and that blue thing is the e-collar he had to wear to make sure he didn't lick his wounds. Poor little guy--he hated the collar but he looked so darn cute in it I couldn't resist.

I am so sorry to hear about the ordeal you and your family have been through. The stress I am sure is off the charts. Sounds like it was a success and he is doing well. What fabulous news...couldn''t be happier. Continued progress in health to your FFIL. And it is your job to eat right and get rest as your strength is needed now.
