Awww Linda honey. I really didn't need my own thread! The September thread was great. But this is so sweet I really appreciate it.

THANK SKIPPY, Karl and Lisa, and Snlee (how is the baby? How are you?), and Miracles!!! You guys are just the best.

I've had a lovely b-day so far. John and I went to fondue for the first time on Saturday, it was great fun! Then on Sunday we were just lazy as lizards in the sun, on Monday we went to my parents, and today I got to work from home and PS in my down time. Friends family have been calling all day. And now this thread! Overall, a great B-day! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes


OMG! It is my last B-day as a married woman. And my last B-day as Layla MaidenName intead of Layla HisLastName. That's... really... weird.

Thank you Jewelerman! Nope. I asked for a housekeeping service. John did the research, got the 'bids' and referrals, and from here on out I get to watch someone else clean my house twice a week. The gift that keeps on giving.

He wanted to get me a spa day, and I said... the most relaxing thing for me ever is watching someone else scrub the shower.

I'm usually the 'researcher' so just being able to sit back and enjoy is a huge gift.

Linda I had a great B-day!

Fondue was SO MUCH FUN! It was wonderful to have a meal that forces you to slow down, enjoy each other's company, and talk and just be together. The experience and the time spent were a gift themselves. I really enjoyed it. I don't think it's for everyone, but we really had a great time. And we'll fondue again, I have no doubt.

Melting Pot. There is also La Fondue in Saratoga but the prices were just well, risky, for something I wasn't sure we'd like. But it's got better reviews. We were happy there though.

If you all are gonna try it, I posted my thoughts on the food and stuff in the Who's Who thread Sarah posted for me. It was a really good time.

Okay, so John had to work late and just got home (and feels bad, for no reason) so I'm off PS for the night!
