Halo question

Do you think a halo similar to the one in the picture would work for a pear shape? I''m thinking of my pear zircons for earrings. I think I would use the right/left part on the pointy part of the pear and the top/bottom part on the rounded part of the pear. The zircons are 8x6mm.

I think it could be lovely, Kismet! It''s difficult to visualize completely, but I do like the style/feel of that setting!

The ring is for sale at Lang Antiques. The peridot is pretty huge I think... 20ct range iirc.
