now what:

2.02 princess cut

6.89x6.90x4.91 (W L D) L/W 1.00
total depth 4.91mm 70.9% GIA cert says 71.2% ???
crown 39.6 deg 10.2%
pavil 62.2 deg 57.4%
table 4.92mm 71.1% GIA cert says 68% ???
cutlet 0.0%
girdle 3.4% (3.4%-3.3%)

Any help would be great, how does this diamond look on paper? What accounts for the discrepancy between the GIA and Sarin depth and table percents?

Grading labs run a Sarin on diamonds when they are submitted. That becomes the official measurements for the diamond. GIA doesn''t list the Sarin info on their Certs, Cert measurements can be rounded numbers, so many Vendors just rerun the Sarin on diamonds. Variations in instruments, technique, the weather, a speck of dust, etc., can contribute to the differences in the measurements. As long as the measurements are close, it''s nothing to worry about.

What little I know about Princess cuts, that diamond looks good on paper so far. Maybe some other folk more knowledgeable on Prin cuts will chime in for you.
