First I want to thank all of you for helping to provide me with such great information. You all have been invaluable in helping me. Good Old Gold has been especially helpful and I would like to get some of your opinions on a few diamonds I am considering.

1.718ct G VS2 Princess AGS Ideal

1.74ct G VVS1 Pr AGS-Ideal


1.83ct F VVS2 Princess


2.542ct H VS1 Princess AGS-Ideal

I realize there is a big difference in price between the four. Please let me know what you think of them.

I''d choose b/t the first one or the last one. I see no reason to pay that much more for the 2nd and 3rd just because of the clarity, but I can see paying more for a larger stone. Plus, I don''t like the big hold in the IS pict of #3.

Im not much into princess cuts but this is how it seems to me:

Bang for the buck: 1.718 G/vs2

large size/good performance 2.54 H/vs1

fiery/expensive 1.74 g-vvs1

1.83 F vvs2 high performance, paying for the clarity, better deal than the 1.74 g-vvs1

Want the size then the 2.54 H/vs1 wins

otherwise the 1.718 G/vs2 looks like the winner in my book.

The 1.83 would be next
