GOG vs WF''s ACA?

Has anyone seen a Good Old Gold H&A and one of White Flash''s A Cut Above H&A''s to see how they compare? Looks like the prices are pretty similar, didn''t know if the "ACA" was worth paying a bit of a premium for. Thanks!

both companies offer top level cuts. you can''t blanket statement say ''all xxx are better than all xxx''
aca is a brand cut within a range of strict standards and all stones are ags graded ideal. other non-branded stones (such as those from gog) may vary more on cut ranges and may be graded by other labs, such as gia. with this in mind, you should also consider stones from wf''s ''expert selection'' in your comparison. there are some very high quality stones that just miss making aca and don''t carry the brand premium.

I haven''t seen both of them side by side, but both are premium type stones, Jonathan hand-picks his own H&A''s just like Brian hand-picks from his newly cut stash what goes into the ACA brand vs what barely missed it and usually goes into the Expert Selection area.

For many people it''s more about inventory, aka who has what you are looking for, for best price, best numbers, images etc. I wouldn''t necessarily choose one over the other, but inventory comes into it hugely!
