Hey..you know those little things you see the vendors put stone on and then video them turning..the stand..what is that called? Where do i find one? Do you think it''s just set up in a light tent or box like normal gem photos are taken in with a couple of lights? Does anyone have this setup? have you seen one? Where can i find one of those by chance?

I would call it a carousel stage. There are professional things made but i expect theyd be expensive. I would be more inclined to take a skateboard bearing and hot glue a sheet of aluminum over it or even pick up an old record player with the never used 16 rpm at a garage sale and put a disc of aluminum or black acrylic over it. Should you want the more expensives you should look at

I would google rotating display base or mirrored rotating display turntable. Both types can be found on amazon.

I know my mother has one, but I don't know the type (sorry) She's quite the Tchochke Queen lol
