I remember your post w/ the stock photos and I thought it was pretty but it didn''t particularly strike me, but these real life photos knocked my socks off! I just read your previous post ("Home Stretch") and I am chiming in--belately--to say:
1. I heart Larry and have tremendous respect for the quality of VC pieces.

Like you said, it is clear from talking to him that he takes his work seriously and cares deeply about the pieces coming out of the VC factory.

2. You made the right choice going with GOG on your stone. Jon and his crew are great people and put together a lot of information on their stones to help you make an educated decision. I talked to JW briefly, but went with GOG too.

Here are a couple more photos that I took over my lunch break today. I think the rings have gotten a little bit dirty since I got them, as these are taken from fairly close. I am getting them appraised for insurance purposes tomorrow, so I guess they will probably clean them afterwards.

The rings will definitely be a surprise. I am certain she has never heard of Van Craeynest, and I doubt she has even heard of Pricescope--although that will change after I give her the engagement ring.

. I proposed this past Wednesday and it was very very special. I would like to write down the whole story but I''m about to run out the door, so I don''t have time to write it out and do it justice. Let''s just say it was a complete surprise and she LOVES LOVES LOVES

her engagement ring as well as her wedding band, which is locked up until our wedding date, Feb 14, 2009!!

I promise that I will post the story as well as handshots in the near future!!
