I'm getting four 7-7.5mm Akoya cultured pearls removed from a bracelet, and I'm looking for ideas on what to do with them. I'm thinking of getting a station bracelet made, either with or without bezel set diamonds in between the pearls.

Are there any other ideas I should consider?
If I do the station bracelet, should I add diamonds?
If I add diamonds, how big should they be?

I really like station pieces with Pearl's (necklaces and bracelets). I also love the idea of adding diamonds between the pearls. I think @yssie has something like that, but I might be misremembering

Wire wrapped dangle earrings.

Personally, I would have them as a pendant (4 vertical), or necklace (4 through a thin chain or leather cord), as I am heavy with my hands so no pearl bracelets unless they are inexpensive.

DK :))

Thank you all for taking the time to respond! The original bracelet - and, by extension, the pearls that came off of it - are really important to me, so I'm trying to be thoughtful about what to do with them. I really appreciate you all bouncing ideas with me! :)

A consideration: bracelets are more prone to being dinged than, say, necklaces, especially if they are worn regularly. You could just set the extra pearls aside to replace bracelet pearls that may get dinged over the course of time. Or save 1 pearl for that purpose and use the other 3 in a vertical pendant.

The station bracelet idea would be beautiful!
If you want an easy way to wear them while you consider larger projects, simple wire earrings with the pearls as accents could work well.

Clever! Thank you so much for the photos!

I will absolutely update this thread! I don't want to rush into anything and regret it, so I'm going to mull over these ideas until I'm 1000% sure. Thank you again to everybody!

I *love* my WF pearls pieces. The workmanship is pristine. When you decide on a finally-final - I can’t recommend them enough!!

Most pearl specialist vendors don’t have many custom (or even semi-custom) options. Smaller operations will string and wire-wrap, and larger vendors can order from Stuller and do basic bench work (soldering, mounting, etc.), but for top-class metalwork with cuatomizations you’re going to be looking primarily at the diamond and design shops. And most of them aren’t used to working with pearls!!

My personal go-tos are WF and CvB for custom work. Pearl Paradise for drilling (I only ever want a pearls specialist doing that!) and basic bench asks involving pearls. Pattye on Etsy for stringing.

So many great points I would never have thought of - thank you so much for taking the time! I clearly have more research to do, and I appreciate having such a thorough starting point!!
