Brandy,
How does the colour compare to Bob’s picture? It looks a pleasant pastel yellow green in the second to last picture even though the paper states that it is yellow pink? I love the high crown on it as it should be very lively.

This tourmaline has quite the personality and goes from looking yellow to coppery to pink. I had yet to notice any green but I do see some green in that picture. I''ll have to report back on wether that is accurate or if it''s a reflection of something else as today is my first day to wear it around. The stone is very lively, quite flashy.

Wow, I have a champagne diamond in the same setting, and they look like they could be twin rings!! Very nice.

Thank you oddoneout, ma re, and TL!

I''m still playing around with the stone and figuring out when it picks up surrounding colors. So far I''ve found that the object needs to be above the ring at about a 45 degree angle and within a foot before the tourmaline picks up the color of that object. That still doesn''t explain the green in the picture. It did do something else a little wacky...outside just a little while ago it was flashing blue at me. My shirt is black although I do have blue jeans on but they were not above the stone, they were below it and I can''t recreate it by putting anything blue under the stone.

Bad picture, taken with my iphone couldn''t get a non-blurry shot to save my life but it does show the blue.

I love round stones. Cut and setting are very nice, too. Congratulations!

That is an interesting set of colors that your tourmaline goes through. And I love how you paired the setting with that stone; a match made in heaven!
