Final 2 - yellow diamond options please help me choose

Hi everyone
I made a new thread because no one replied to my previous new post in my old thread so please help me here

option 1 - 6900 USD- fancy yellow . 2.23 carat. Vs2- medium fluorescence. I saw this one myself and stood in front of a window and the color didn’t change, still looked yellow.

option 2 - 6000 USD- fancy yellow. 1.62 carat- Vs2 - faint fluorescence. This is through online so photos by seller. He says the color is 9/10 on the fancy yellow scale and that it’s a special cut to enhance the color.

The difference is 900 USD so its not much for my one in a lifetime yellow ring. I want to get the best within my budget

The concern is the medium fluorescence which when I saw didn’t make such a difference a but I’m not a professional . Also the seller said there is a tinge of color (that’s gia doesn’t record is less than 10%) also I didn’t notice myself but I’m not sure what to look for

So why I’m confused - the size (would prefer bigger) also the smaller diamond seller told me that the color is very high in it and that the cut is a special cut that emphasizes the color so would look intense once set in yellow

I’m usually the first person to say “get the big one” but I really like no 2.
The colour and cut have much more “oomph”.
Sure there’s a size difference but it’s hardly noticable to the eye and I think with the better colour and cut it will be more impressive on the finger.
to my eye No 1 is a bit pale and insipid.

Personally I like 1 but that’s because I’m fond of that more pastel lemonade shade. I think it looks fab on your hand too. I do agree that 2 appears more intense but I find myself wishing for a touch of orange. Maybe you should just order it to see with your own eyes, with a secure return policy, of course.

I prefer option 2 - the most important thing with fancy color diamonds is of course the color. Vibrant yellow of 2 looks better than the muted yellow of 1 to me.

Not sure if the med blue fluor of 1 has is affecting the color. Don't like blue fluor in fancy yellow diamonds.

I still like the soft yellow elongated radiant you had posted. It had a charm to it.

Love the colour of option 2.
It had a lovely touch of a little golden hue to it.
My eyes kept on being drawn to it.

More orange?
Personally I just love the colour of option 2 and to me it has just that little hint of gold to it and has a warmer richer colour to the yellow diamond.
Option 1 makes me want to eat it.
It looks like lemon candy. LOL

My favourite fancy coloured diamond is blue followed by pink.

Yes, a touch of orange would make it warmer and richer to me. But it’s really personal preference. Everybody likes different shades.
