I'm doing some research on 21st century learning in the classroom, and if you're not familiar with the term, it basically refers to the movement towards new ways of encouraging kids to use media and technology-based projects in the classroom. Gone are the days of doing pencil and paper activities! We expect more and more out of our kids today, and technology-based projects can help children think critically and gain and share knowledge with others.
There's a lot of info out there and I'm hoping you can help. I'm looking for recommendations of your favorite photo sharing site. I've used Smilebox and Animoto, and I'm thinking about trying Vimeo as well. I have a blog and I'm putting together a slideshow of my class doing various projects in our room. I'm going to put the slideshow on my blog and I'm also going to show the video on our Smartboard (interactive whiteboard) at Open House soon. Do you have other sites worth checking out?
Thanks in advance!
