I am looking at a ring .83
D VS2
Depth 73.9
table 71
girdle M

GIA
p/s= E/VG 5.19x5.17x 3.82
It has a faint fluorescence is this something I shy away from? Thanks again for your advice.

faint fluor is nothing to be concerned about. you won''t even notice it, except maybe under a black light.

I suppose the diamond is a princess cut judging by the depth and table. If it was a well cut round diamond, the size of the diamond would look a lot larger than this shape.... There is far more detriment in the deepness of the stone than in having a tiny bit of nearly invisible UV fluorescence.
A well cut round diamond of similar width would only weight about .55ct. Much of the weight you are paying for is on the pavilion, not visible to the wearer or to anyone else.
