There are so many beauties on this thread! I got engaged on 20 July 2012 and have an Asscher diamond engagement ring. Prior to deciding on a shape and band style, my fiancé and I researched intensively. I loved the classy, Art Deco look of the Asscher, so that's what he bought me. Here are some photos of my ring.

I've spent hours looking thru this thread at all of the gorgeous stepcuts & would like to add my 15yr anniversary upgrade pictures.
The ering is a 1.11ct VVSI K Emerald Cut purchased thru James Allen set east-west in the Sholdt semi-bezel purchased thru Pearlmans.
My band is 2.15ct five stone of G-H VS2 Emerald Cut diamonds from a local jeweler. I am thrilled with how well they go together
