Dust my hubby too?

Ok, it worked for Monnie, it worked for Maise, it worked for Indie when she wanted that house (that later had property line issues) so I thought I''d try..

My DH has been looking for another position since November to no avail. His current position isn''t terrible, but it would be great for him and his quality of life to have something else going on. He''s been a final candidate (ie one of two) THREE times.


So today at I think 3ish he has an interview to work at his old school in a really neat position.

So he''s qualified for this job, but doesn''t exactly have the career path that the person interviewing was looking for but... she was charmed by him and thinks he''s qualified.

Probably nothing will happen for a while since it''s vacation season for the powers that be, but it looks good!

Now the waiting begins again... essentially if he gets this job, we''ll stay in the area for at least 3, probably closer to 5 years. If not, west coast here we come next summer. We''d be happy to stay; we''d be happy to go. Ahh those pesky life decisions.

Forgive me honey...I read the title and thought it was a rant about house cleaning. Oh boy.

We have this high powered yard blower. Instead of carring it...it is on 4 wheels and you push it. It is called a little wonder...it will blow the paint off your house. Well, I got this idea to mound the stuff up and aim the blower towards you...IT WORKED. Your house is sandblasted...but you have been blown

I can see that... must work on titling threads... He''s actually the tidy one, he''s more likely to dust me!

I''m not sure how hopeful this is, but DH is the only person who''s been interviewed for the position. They just aren''t getting the type of applicants that they wanted. DH only got an interview because he''s known there as an alumnus and came recommended. I guess this could be good or bad. We shall see!!

Don''t get down if they have to do another round of interviews because they only interviewed your husband. Some places are required to interview X no. of people for job openings! I''m sure he''ll knock them out again if they make him return to do another interview!!

Update!

DH has been called back to meet with HR. This might be a bit of a ploy to get him to apply to another lower level position, but whatever. Any interview is a good interview.
