Dover Cushion Ring

Hello,

As you know I am looking for an antique cushion, I have heard both good and bad things about Dover...mostly that they under estimate the color. thoughts?

I was thinking the same thing but I think the ring from Ebay had a 3 carat center stone. I believe it sold for around 10,000.

They did just sell it in an auction, I presume they haven't taken it down yet. Possible the bidder didn't pay, they often don't. Dover always headlines by carat total weight which is annoying. I was very pleased with my one purchase from them.

I have bought 3 things from Dover and so far have been fairly happy with them (the 3rd item should arrive tomorrow). I think they inflate the suggested retail price of the merchaise and sometimes I think their ctw is off, but overall you get alot of bang for your buck there.

If you are nervous you can email them and say you will buy the ring but you want a return window in case the diamond looks to yellow to you. It never hurts to ask.
