The stone sounds really pretty! It scores a 1.8 on the HCA and easily gets a 1A on the old AGA charts.

Can you see any of the inclusions? That is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head about the stone.

A quick search on PS shows that F-SI2 stones in that range run from about $9,000 to $12,000--but it would make sense your stone would be at the upper end of that range because it is so well cut (at least by the numbers!).

Do YOU like it in person? That''s the real test...

I have not seen it in person, it is a stone from an internet site. I have just found that peoples opinions help me ask the right questions. The GIA cert is available for viewing which indicates some of the flaws. But just looking to get more opinions based on the published numbers....Thanks to all that have already responded and to those that will in the future. I like the color, but the SI2 rating scares me a little.
