That''s very kind of them, but I cannot think of anywhere I would rather be LESS on my birthday!

I''m with you!

I''m forced to go to D-land at least once a year by the kiddos. It is torture for my grouchy germophobic self. OTOH, I do enjoy Sea World and the Wild Animal Park...In the winter. When it is not hot. And there are no crowds.

I do applaud the marketing effort on Disney''s part. Lots of people go for special occasions. DD is already planning a trip to Disneyland for her b-day.

That's awesome! DH and I haven't been to Disneyland since 2001. We'd love to go again but not sure about going with a 1 year old. Too young?

TGal, sounds like a great plan to play hooky and go to disney with Amelia on your birthday next year!

YIPPY! D-Land is my FAV place in the world...and since I am a premium annual pass holder (as is my entire family) instead of a free trip, I get a free gift card that day for the price of a ticket!!!!

Honestly, I think a 1.5 year old is kinda young (which is how old Amelia will be). I wouldn''t take her for a whole day...it''s the perfect opportunity to go for a few hours as a nice distraction.

And I''m with the rest of you...I normally wouldn''t care to go to D-land for my bday, but since it''s on a Monday I''d probably be working anyway so might as well hang out with the kid and do something fun!
