.90 ct F VVS2 Solasfera, with 91 facets and 10 arrows instead of 8.
I don’t think the HCA is applicable to this cut but the FS is wall to wall red.

.91 Ct D VS2 H&A – HCA 1.1 TIC

Also I am going to try to compare these two to an 8*.

I realize these are different animals but your feedback would be appreciated.
Has anyone here seen a Solasfera?

With more facets I would guess each flash of light/ color would be smaller???
What are the disadvantages of going with a non-standard cut, if any.

Your thoughts please.

I am receiving these stones for review and intend to carry them around to Jewelry stores to compare to other stones.

Do you think I will I be kicked out on my ear for bringing Internet Ice into B&Ms?

Maybe, maybe not. Some did this with stones they have already purchased (you might find stories on "Show me the ring" - there were a few) and I can''t remember any unpleasant encounter. However, there was no sales preassure there. Perhaps you might want to apply diplomacy - I doubt any jewelry show sees clients carrying diamonds from their competitors in for direct comparison !

Side by side comparison of stones in the same light and room is the only way to really compare stones.
