I zoomed the last picture so much that it shows the silk in it. The cut on it is not good though. Nevertheless I like the colour, and is natural (untreated/unheated)

A ruby of the sort you are asking about will be VERY expensive. One member on PS spent 15 months looking for a top ruby - it was $10k for 1.10ct IIRC

Hi Everyone, Ive been a lurker for a long time but i finally had to pull myself out of lurkdom so that i could share with you all some of my eye candy.. This is a ring that set aside by my grandmother specifically for me, as i was the only granddaughter at the time. I have no idea how many carats it is, only that it dwarfs my fingers as you can see. My ring finger is a 6.5, if that helps figure out its size any.
