Calling all Emerald cuts!

Hello all!

I am getting my new e-ring this weekend, an emerald ''cut'' (I don''t like using the word ''cut'' for the shape of the stone, but what are you gonna do?) and I want to see what you ladies have. Mine is vintage, platinum setting with tapered baguettes and the center stone is 1.8 carats H color and SI clarity. I am so excited to get it, since it is my dream ring. Anyhow, I want to see what other beauties are out there! So show me some pics!!!!!

*sigh* I love your ring. Tis so elegent and timeless. That''s what I love about EC''s.

My band is not a whiteflash I''m afraid. I only discovered PS after I had bought it. Although, my longterm goal is to upgrade from my ickle 0.5ct e-ring to a more substantial 1.5ct+ EC or square EC (love asschers, keep coming back to the EC tho). my argument is that it will sit better with my band. So far, DH just nods and says uh-huh........10 year anniversary I fear, so only 6 years to go. Lots of planning. Had an opportunity for a great deal on a 1.04ct RB and I was going to put it in a bezel set - again......couldn''t do it.

LOL - I already told my Hubby I''m upgrading for our tenth. So he has three years to save up.

I think actually that it was the Facets collection that had bands like yours. I''m really wanting something like that. Can you tell?

LadyAmythyst, I love your EC! It is gorgeous! What about the ring in your profile pic? It looks Georgian, at least I have come across similar styles in Georgian rings (another one of my sick obsessions) I would love to know more about both! Thanks for sharing
