WOW..you''re right, it does look HUGE.."less is more"..and I find it looks like an engagement ring now. The halo was pretty, but I find it looked more like a right hand ring before. Congrats..enjoy!

I really wanted a blingy setting when I chose the first setting, but then I was starting to feel a little self-conscious when people would make comments on it... even if they were compliments; a little too much attention...

I now love the low key me

I love the new setting! Yanno, they say that a halo makes a diamond look bigger, but depending on the way it''s designed, that''s not not always necessarily true. I think you made a smart choice in simplifying your setting, it looks much more like a 1.69ct now!! Congrats!
