How does this look to all of you experts out there? Thanks in advance for your help!

Asscher
8.48 x 8.46 x 6.00
F VS1
Polish VG
Symmetry VG
Flour N
61% Table
70.9% Depth (too deep?)
No Culet
Girdle: XTH - M (is this a concern?)
L to W: 1.00

Are the windmills too thick? There isn''t a lot of depth in the cuts near the center -- is this bad?
This is the only pic I have -- no IS or anything else...
Thanks again --you are all so wonderful!

I''m not an expert on asschers by any means, but that''s one of the loveliest ones I''ve seen - I love the octagonal look! How many carats is it?

Girdle: XTH <--- where and how much?
I like the stone but that can be a durability issue.

thanks strmrdr ... I am getting a sarin tomorrow and will post. also looking at some Royals, and trying to decide between the octagonal, 5 step or Royal.... RA''s are just so pricey!

btw, not a lot of depths in the steps close to the center ... is that ok?
thanks again, and thanks for all the knowledge you''ve shared - it''s been extremely helpful in this process...

its enough to give it the 10 mile deep look
An expert looking at the girdle in person would be the best eval sarin isnt the best for it.
it should have a bit of a discount for the depth.

Thanks again...
Also looking at this one:

9.40 x 9.38 x 6.13
G SI 1 (I know I''m supposed to stay away from SI stones right? But they say "eye-clean")
Polish: EX
Symmetry: EX
Flour: None
67% Table (is this pushing it?)
65.4% Depth (too shallow ?)
No culet
Girdle: M-STK
L to W: 1.00

Thanks

I like the first one better than the 2nd. I can see specks of something. I can''t tell if it is dust or on the diamond itself. Also, I would worry about the girdle. I would contact a ring designer to ask for a 2nd oppinion as mine is just a laymen''s oppinion. They might be able to work worth it, who knows. Good luck.
