I had another special find this week: an 18k swirly art nouveau ring with a small OMC and coral-colored enamel. I just love this style, and it seems that pieces are getting harder to come by and more expensive. The seller dated it around 1890, but there are no hallmarks. Hope y'all like this one as much as I do! ☺️

Wow, that is gorgeous! I absolutely love the color of the enamel, I don’t see a lot of enamel and especially not this color.

What a unique find! I don't think I've ever seen anything exactly like it. Could you tell if it was originally a ring or a conversion piece? Feeling curious.

I also think it would be perfect in the Wednesday pink thread!

So pretty. Art nouveau is my favorite time period! It’s hard to find intact pieces in such great shape. Great find

It wasn't advertised as a conversion ring, and it doesn't look like one to me, but what do I know. The ring head and band appear to have similar age-related spots and I don't see any obvious place where a pin would have been attached. Plus I am fairly certain that I see a tiny spot of enamel on the band. I have another ring advertised as the same era and you can see that the bands are a similar style, which makes me optimistic that this floral ring is original. I love these two rings together!
