I''m still on the prowl for a light champagne color sapphire and would like your comments on the following stones if you have a minute.

Have you had experience with GemSelect? Good? Bad?

I am still learning about windows... do the following look ok? For me it is still hard to tell:

http://www.gemselect.com/sapphire/sapphire-236382.php

http://www.gemselect.com/sapphire/sapphire-236706.php (I see the inclusion in this one... would it be very visible with the naked eye, do you think?)

http://www.multicolour.com/detail/?-357123141 (This one is from multicolour.com)

Thank you, thank you for all of your help in advance

Windows are much easier to see in lighter gemstones and I''m afraid the 3 you''ve posted from GemSelect are all heavily windowed. They''re very pretty gemstones but I think if you set them in a ring you''d see your finger through the centre.

The gem from Multicolour is much darker and also better cut and there''s no window BUT is it the colour you want? It really is very different from the GemSelect ones.

Hey Kedzie,

You might want to try The Natural Sapphire Company. They have a huge selection of untreated sapphires. I purchased a pale pink oval beauty from them a few years ago, and am very satisfied. Go to their website and browse through!

I would chose the gem from Multicolour. The color is very pretty and its cut better than the ones from GemSelect.
