I am looking to purchase a palladium men's band for my wedding and found what appeared to be a really good deal at iweddingband.com:

http://www.iweddingband.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductDisplayCd=LWBEA6Y

I love the style and it was $810 shipped. Iweddingband has some reputable reviews out there so I am comfortable with ordering from them

I did one last comparison search before ordering and found what appears to be an identical ring for $609. I could't believe it! Here it is:

http://www.sarraf.com/Palladium-6mm-Comfort%252dfit-Satin%252dfinished-With-High-Polished-Beveled-Edge-Carved-Design-Band-1-18127.html

Is it just me, or is this not the same ring? There is no designer/manufacturer listed. I actually ordered both so I could compare them myself. Not being an expert, I'm concerned that maybe the Sarraf one uses a lower palladium content % or has some other deficiency that would make it $200 less. I would hate for it to not hold up as well over time. Can anyone here confirm it's the exact same ring?

The second image does not show (page cannot be found). But based on the description in the link, it sounds like they are very similar, save for the carving that the second one supposedly has. This means that the one from sarraf is probably etched all around to emphasize the delineation between bands. Such as in this one, http://www.diamonds-jewelery-chicago.com/10k-white-gold-6mm-comfort-fit-satin-finished-high-polished-beveled-edge-carved-design-band.aspx

Wish I could answer your question on the quality of palladium used in either. One thing you can do is to look for reviews / feedback on sarraf's online, to find out if they scrimp on their bands.
