I just purchased a ring from GOG and an appraisal was included in the package. The appraisal was almost twice the cost that I paid for the ring. I don''t have the appraisal company name or info in front of me but I was wondering how much weight should I hold on this value? I would still like to get it independently appraised and then file for insurance. Thanks.
