So I found this little treasure, newest addition to my pin collection. It‘s a bit beaten but very pretty. Stamped 750 18C and something I can‘t read. I think the little shells are enamel and there are tiny rose cut diamonds on the side. Knowing nothing about pearls I couldn‘t even tell if this one is real. How would you suggest cleaning it?!

Very pretty! Maybe the pearl forum could tell you how to clean and care for it.

Dissolve a few drops of gentle dishwashing liquid (not lemon scented) in a cup or little bowl of lukewarm water. Let your pin soak in it for half an hour or so--long enough to soften/loosen whatever gunk has gathered. Gently brush out the gunk with an old, soft toothbrush--or, better yet, a paintbrush with natural bristles. Rinse in lukewarm water. Dry with a soft cloth.

Beautiful pin! Wear it in health and happiness.
