I am forever shopping and looking at emerald cuts in my quest to find the best balance between budget and quality. I am slowly learning how to look at decent cuts, but I still need some mentoring. To get a larger stone for my budget, I am looking at H, I and J''s.

What do you think about these four stones?

Shape Carat Color Clarity Lab Depth Table Meas Girdle Cutlet Symetry Polish Flourescence L:W

Emerald 2.16 J VS2 GIA 64.7 63 8.87x6.52x4.22 tn sm vg ex ft 1.36:1
Emerald 2.05 I VS1 GIA 62.7 64 8.63x6.38x4.00 stk no vg vg no 1.35:1
Emerald 2.11 H VS1 GIA 64.6 63 8.59x6.32x4.08 m-sltk no vg gd no 1.36:1
Emerald 2.15 H VS1 GIA 64.9 62 8.84x6.41x4.16 tk- md vg vg mb 1.38:1

Will the flourescence in the first and last stone help these look significantly whiter or just a little?

Thanks for your time!

The numbers seem right, but you can only judge "fancy shapes" when you visualize the stones...
Fluo. (med. blue) with an H color diamonds can give a whiter appearance, allthough in my opinion less on a E/C diamond (more on brilliant cuts)
Also the fourth stone has a medium size culet facet, (could be a cool looking antiquey kind of stone, can you post a picture?)

IMO, ECs show a lot more color. The J may be too yellow for you.

ECs show more body colour than round shapes. Add to the fact that you also want a larger carat weight stone, and those also show more body colour. My personal tolerance is at H. Have you seen what a J EC looks like? Is the tint acceptable to your eyes? The fluoro might help a little but I tnink its impact would be less compared to the round shapes.

As for the other stats, they all look good on paper. Are all these from the same vendor? Can they be compared side by side?
