It's 2:30am and we just got the call!! D is in labor so we are heading out in a few minutes! She is still at 1 cm. It's a 4.5 hr drive. Please muster up all the prayers/dust/good vibes that you can for our family, D's family, and this little baby and I'll be back to update later

She has a long way to go, poor little thing! I am praying for all of you, as are so many others! I send tons of love!

Deb that is so cute you noticed! I didn't even notice I'm actually an older poster but when I started thinking about TTC, I asked admin if I could make a new handle so that I didn't 'out' myself too soon!!

I've been around much longer, but my TTC version is one year old today!!

Back to IG - I keep checking back - so excited for you!

I'm in love!!!! We've finally been able to see and hold her. She's a tiny little thing with full lips and fine dark hair. We've spent some time with the birth family and it's been nice. Bio grandmom (S), got choked up, hugged me, and said that she was so happy that the baby would be raised by us. D has mostly been asleep and recovering but when she's awake, she's very quiet.

The hospital is trying to set up a separate room for us so hopefully that will happen soon...I'm wiped! More tomorrow!
