OMG..Cushioncutnut, who does that pear halo belong to? What are the specs...I LOVE pear diamonds, and when I got my solitaire a year or so agao..it was a toss up between the 1.76 round, and a 1.48 carat pear. I would have LOVED to have bought the pear, and put it in a halo setting, but I never di get to see the pear iamon in person (jeweler told me it woul take about a week for him to get it in his hans, and by then, I had seen the round and fell in love with it. I still wonder if I should have waited to see it, and then decide which one I wanted more. Ah well....

....that pear would be part of my collection. The pear was reset into the halo a little over a year ago. It is 1.02 cts. 7.5mm x 5mm I am guessing. I got the pear years ago. It was for my first born/ 30th birthday present. When I had it reset... I could not get over how huge the pear looked in the new halo setting. It took on a whole new life!!

Well, DW would probably have a different opinion, but yes, let''s say it''s mine. Will start a thread in a couple of days with some more pictures. The other ones I have aren''t any good.

I have a question for IMPATIENT ONE and BUTTERFLYGIRL.. Since I am in the market for an ering, and LOVE both of your styles.. could you tell me the size of your center stone and the diamonds on the band?? I am unsure of how big I want each diamond on the band.. Im thinking .15 with shared prong setting..

hello 110203 - chances are they may not see your message here - and PS doesn''t have PM function..
What you can do is start a new thread, probably in SMTR section, with title something like "Calling Impatient and Butterfly,.."..then explain what you''re after in the content.
they have a better chance of seeing it that way
