Emeralds. Step cuts. Diamonds. Oh. My.

I couldn''t resist but to snap a quick picture through the window for my fellow colored stone lovers, because I saw this and was in love instantly. I''ll post the color altered pic first, and the original pic second. It was a pure bright green in real life, but photographed tealy blue. BTW, the camera picked up the windows big time, and in real life, they hardly existed. Such an amazing necklace....

I thought the color difference was crazy! I looked at the necklace, then the camera, and I was like, "WHAT?! It''s GREEN!!!" Eh well.

I forgot to mention that the big square emerald shape at the bottom was in between the size of a nickle and a quarter, but closer to a quarter. It was HUGE!

And then they had this whole display of diamond and ruby jewelry, and I was going to take some pics of that, but the security was staring at me, so decided against that.

FI and I did check out some sapphire rings that were around 4-maybe 15 carats that were very close to cobalt, but they had big windows in them (I got to teach FI what "windows" are) but still super sparkly.

Next time I go back, I hope it''s when they are open...I might just ask to try some of these on!
